Killed Crocodile thing...can't progress?
Flipped the switch during the fight...no door opens, and trapped in this basement looking area after killing this boss/miniboss. Is this a known bug? Am I missing something?

Thanks

the switch did open a door on the opposite end of the entrance, look along the left hand wall in the newly opened room and you will find a way forward!
man i faced the same situation so, after clicking the switch 1st time nothing opened then i reloaded the quick save and the small hole in the wall appeared to go through it while crouching :steammocking:

I think you may have just missed the hole before reloading. There is no state in which it does not appear, it is always there behind the door that the switch opens.
To update this thread, this is definitely a bug. I experienced the same thing and had to save and reload to get the door to appear.

No, that is incorrect. There is not a bug here. It is a fundamental misunderstanding of the level.

Accidentally missing the tiny hole is understandable. But it is physically impossible for it to "appear" after loading, you simply missed it.

The hole is really hard to see.
Hi 500_pts, if you ever do an update to this game, you might want to make that hole more visible. Add some light to it, or some green stuff in the style of Doom.

I spent about 10 minutes in that hole before I gave up and searched the internet...
This thread has been closed for awhile, but man was that egregiously terrible piece of level design. What exactly was the purpose of hiding a little tiny hole in the wall? I also had to fix it by looking it up on the internet.

Every time someone posts a comment on this I can't help but feel validated. This was a horrible piece of level design. I still haven't gone back to play the game due to the issues. It kept me from buying their other game Ultrakill as well.
Yep, I've been there myself. I had to watch a video to figure it out. I recall the ground blended in with the wall well enough that it didn't seem cracked.

Perhaps getting drunk makes it easier to find?
Glad to see I'm not alone! I think a green hue was added as of me playing this but I still found it very hard to see, it's just some boomer shooter moon logic, I'm kinda used to it but damn it's still annoying sometimes, I've had to leave a lot of games like Marathon Durandal, Quake 2 and the original Doom for this reason, I hope I don't stumble upon a lot more of these cases of weird level design.
Fantastic experience so far though, well worth the hassle of an occasional walkthrough/internet search.
