Also, I presume you have 8GB of RAM?
Try To Set in Video Settings (in SCUM)
Rendering Resolution at 70
You should get some boost in frames 🍺
I was using epic settings but then reduced them to high with not much improvement. Will check the ping later tonight. Yes I do have 8gb RAM.
The PC is already on Ebay so I'll be buying a new one soon! :D
It's not as bad as people who don't use one say.
I have a box with a GTX 1050ti, 16g, i77k, and run this on High, Monster Hunter World on Medium, Arma 3 on Ultra, and Escape From Tarkov on High.
The 1050 hate is based on how poor it performs compared to to the RX of the same price. It's a fair criticism, but no way as bad as people make out.
Tried to rush some players last night and totally crapped out, screen froze and lost everything, pretty annoying. I've seen a youtube video with a patch to maximize framerate, but i'll probably avoid this as i dont wanna mess with Scum config files.
The above problems still occur with all graphics settings on low. Pretty disappointed now as i really wanted to get into this game.
But since it's complicated, and you're buying instead of building, I suggest you Google it.
Maybe start with googling
"un-parking CPU cores windows 10"
Speaking of buying vs building, you do realise that it's super easy to build a PC (it's like Lego) and for the money you pay for a pre-built PC, you can build your own that's much faster with the same or less money.
Good luck!
Cheers guys. After further thoughts im thinking just to upgrade the graphics card. Just couldnt be bothered to start changing parts on a computer that ive just bought. Seems the best way though.
Would this do the job?
GIGABYTE Nvidia GTX 1060 WF2 6gb

You can also see side by side comparisons on YouTube
Did you try lowering the render resolution from 100 to 80? (Or even 70) That adds at least 10 FPS if not more.
Make sure the windows 10 power settings are at "performance"
Make sure windows is not parking CPU cores.
Close ALL unnecessary programs. Multitasking while running game is a no go for your PC specs
And of course, make sure you have the latest drivers installed
