Improve Performance (FPS Boost)

I get on to 70-100 Fps with this settings:

You have to add this to your steam start parameters of the game right click the game in the library and go to settings and then start parameter and add it there.

How to add the Parameters [prnt.sc]

My start parameters:

-USEALLAVAILABLECORES -NOSPLASH -PREFERREDPROCESSOR 8 -high -malloc=system -nomansky -maxMem=16000 -refresh 60

i dont use -d3d9 because i have a new graphics card that can handle directx 11

What they do:

-USEALLAVAILABLECORES
basically forces the game to use all cores available, this is useful for people with multicore processors who see that the game isnt fully utilising their cpu.

-nomansky
essentially gets rid of any unecessary effects in the skybox, it makes little visual difference but can make difference in terms of FPS.

-d3d9
forces the game to work in directx 9, good for people with lower end graphics cards as dx11 can be problematic with older GPU's, also changes the level of DX9 for better performance.

-refresh
set the refresh rate of your Monitor
so for example: If you have 144hz you use "-refresh 144" or if you have 60hz you use "-refresh 60"

-NOSPLASH
Disable use of splash image when loading game.

-PREFERREDPROCESSOR
Set the thread affinity for a specific processor

-NOTEXTURESTREAMING
Disable texture streaming. Highest quality textures are always loaded.
Use "-NOTEXTURESTREAMING" only if you have much RAM !!!

-high
Sets the windows priority

-malloc=system
Forces the game to use Windows memory management instead of its own.

-maxMem=16000
Defines the maximum amount of memory allowed to use.

did you try -d3d9 or -d3d10? maybe that helps i also have a gtx1060 because it is not all your drivers are up to date? i had only 1 crash in my playtime

I couldn't play for more than 10 - 15 minutes when I would get a crash. The crash logs showed

cpu i5 6400

ram 16

my fps is 60 on epic so no idea why they crash and my

and my temperatures

cpu 69c and down

gpu 60C and down
