How sad will this game make me?
I can't wait to explore this house. Unless it's an unceasing gloom soup. Then I'd rather not. Is it plain sad most of the time? Wonder interspersed with sadness? Am I getting it all wrong and it's actually just dark humor? I'd appreciate your take on it. NO spoilers please.

It's kind of sad, but it also has some humor in it. I wouldn't say it's morbidly depressing, but I played it for more of this story, so I didn't care either way

It depends on the point of view .. try to play these stories not as a series of tragic fatalities but as a series of messages. Every person try to teach you something. In all the stories there is good and bad things ... to me the game liked for the beauty of beautiful moments and for the teaching of the sad consequences...

I'm not finished it yet but it's not entirely sad. Some of it had me thoroughly enjoying myself.

Not terribly. You might understand how I feel to have no living relatives. You get over it quickly.

This game is technically brilliant and stunningly beautiful. I found it to be unceasing gloom soup as well.
