Loot the World App

FYI!!! This is for the USA ONLY

Head on over to the Loot the World[www.gearboxsoftware.com] and download the app to your iPhone or Android and scan barcodes in real life with a chance to get keys.
The only downside is you're not garentied Keys, but you'll always get "something".
Also, you can only send 3 items a day.

Note to the 255 key limit

You should no longer reset to 0 keys if you exceed 255 keys. Now it will just stay at 255 keys even if you pass it.
~UPDATE~
If you have 253 keys and redeem a code for 3 keys it will show you have 253 keys but you'll actually have 256 keys.

Borderlands 2, thru the main menu. No separate activation needed, at before at least. Although I've been thinking that it seems that previous SHiFT-code (from this thread, posted 7.2.) did very same. For both times I was informed that code was activated successfully, and no keys. For the previous, info for activated code in list for previously activated codes did show something strange, non-key related, and there was no permanent item added into the list as it just vanished after closing SHiFT-menu. Items on that list are very distinguishable, as currently first item is from this year, and previous is from 2020.

Could it be that since the code is multi-game, BL2 needs to be selected from the website?
[edit] Website shows both codes for this year. There's nothing to select at this point, they're listed under BL2, as I've activated them through it.

[edit] I currently have 70 keys, so the "soft cap" of 255 keys is not the issue here.
