Just make another {bad word} channel of non-BL2 SHIFT codes {bad word}!
Because that's how shift codes were implemented.
No.
The VIP codes are BL2 SHIFT codes, they just happen to also be BL, BL-TPS, and BL3 codes simultaneously.
Think of it like this... old numeric codes = a remote that controls one device. VIP word codes = a universal remote to control all devices. =)
Indeed. You can buy more keys using vip codes, and they don't disturb to post them, anyone who didn't join the program can simply ignore them. I personally decided to use them...
Tho, if OPs decide to make a separated thread I am fine either way, I will sub both things.
Ftfy. OP is gone and isn't maintaining this thread. It has been mentioned more than a few times to start a new thread with an active OP to keep it updated and on topic. That never sticks. This thread is about SHIFT codes not VIP codes. No matter how you toss it they are not the same. Just because one can be used for the other does still not make them the same.
I miss the good ol days when 12 inboxes on this thread meant there was a new SHIFT code wth people verifying how many keys it actually gave. Let's get back to that, SHIFT codes, verification posts and nothing more.
Every month someone says this, no one is gonna see it or care about it, it will get lost underneath the next wave of comments. Better to do the sensible thing and follow the actual social media pages themselves instead of waiting for people to post here. There is no obligation to post the SHiFT codes here every month.
Direct quote:
"SHiFT is the platform that powers all in-game promotions and rewards in Gearbox games."
Which is precisely why Vault Insider Program (VIP) codes should be posted on this thread. They are SHIFT codes (you must have a SHIFT account for the VIP codes to be redeemable).
Vault Insider Program (VIP) codes are a clever way to simultaneously promote BL3 while also offering rewards to those who still prefer other BL games.
You are right that this thread is about SHIFT codes, you are wrong in not recognizing that Vault Insider Program (VIP) codes are SHIFT codes.
Happy golden days of yore.
