Good work.
Now to my question: Can i add the GOTY edition to my steam account when there's already a BL2 standard edition?
I am guessing the cheaper GOTY edition may be the retail CD version right? If it is a digital copy and comes with a code (because it should), then when you decide to purchase it and add it to your Steam account then it will replace your current BL2 standard copy. Will replacing the Vanilla copy affect your saved data? Of course not.
If it is a retail CD version, I assume it comes with a code as well to redeem and once redeemed, you should receive all DLCs included in the GOTY edition. Have I purchased a CD version? No. I'm only making assumptions here.
