Is there a mod to customize your own guns?

if you mean the Skin of the gun i dont know but if you mean the stats i HOPE not LOL

All I wanted to do is add a bayonet or get rid of a scope thats on my shotgun, stuff like that I want to change. That would be a great idea for borderlands 3

You should be able to do stuff like that with the editor. You just have to figure out how. :) The game shouldn't have any problem with the modded guns unless you try to create something "illegal" (eg. combine parts that the game wouldn't normally put together).

Nope, hell gear box did not care about me modding my guns in borderlads . The only thing is that other users might frown upon it if you make OP guns that atake away the fun.

Somebody should totally make a mod for the bane gun where it quotes bane from dark night rises. feel free to steal this idea

all modded weapons have been and will be removed. gearbox patched all of it

Not true, as long as the weapon you "mod" can drop in game.
Meaning, as far as I know, even the gibbed editor doesn't allow "not possible" combinations - At least it colors the parts in question red, and those items do get removed completely when loading them.
