Storage: Leave guns here box
The box marked "Leave guns here" looks like it's a place where you might be able to store guns and come back for them MUCH later.

Just started playing... but doesn't seem to work that way from what I've found online.
Guessing they'll just evaporate before long just like stuff dumped anywhere else..

But is there some place/way to store inventory other than your usual backpack/inventory?

You know, like a bank, storage box, etc...

Or are you limited to about one or two dozen worldly possesions and you have to
sell and buy/find to get new (or even old) stuff?

(I hate getting rid of stuff that I might, or even might not, want to try to use later.)

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

If there's a difference between mulit-player/solo campaign, I'm wondering
mostly about the solo campaign.

yeah there is a safe storage, it is introduced early in the main story.

Same as your backpack, you can upgrade it up to a maximum of 39 slots.

Both this bank and your backpack are character-specific.

Additionally, there is a side mission which unlocks a small 4-slot storage which is the same for all your characters, so you can easily transfer some items from one character to another etc.

That "Store Guns Here" sign on the ammo box near the elevator in Liar's Berg is what I guess you are talking about. That is simply a sign meant for anyone going up to the dispensary to leave their guns outside - no place for guns in a hospital. It is a bit of scenery detail in the game.
Not for players :)
The game will tell you where to store your stuff when you get to Sanctuary.

As far as solo / multi-player goes, the story line and missions are the same. Any ammo, money or eridium you find is shared between the team - as in everybody gets the same, not divided by the number of team members. In the same vein, if a fellow team member kills an enemy, you get the xp points as well. The only thing that is not shared is gear on the ground - whoever picks it up and sells it keeps the money. It is up to you to decide with team members how to share the loot when you find a weapons chest.

The game is possible to complete solo.
