In Liar's Berg there are three machines, Ammo, health and guns.
If you do the Shielded Favours mission you can get to the health one at the top of the elevator.
On the way to Flynt's ship in the middle of the bandit camp there is a health vending machine, and a final ammo machine at the top of the ramp before claptrap opens the gate and you confront Flynt.
That is it. There are no other vending machines in that map.
It makes perfect sense, except that there's a really misleading unlit Up-Arrow-sign on
the iron arch just at little ways after you pass under it.
Guess the dev's put the arrow there just to mess with us and make us think that there
might be a secret way up.
There is certainly a lot of iron arches, water pipes, ice shelves and other stuff
that let you climb up a bit, maybe they wanted you to try to get to it and fail.
They also stuck in the does-nothing "Leave Guns Here" by the elevator/shield quest,
which supports the theory they put in stuff you see early in the game to hint that some
things are more useful than they really are, just to mess with "noob' first time players.
