How to farm Marcus Storeroom after "WHere angels fear to tread" mission

I've seen people farm it and I'm just curious to how, as I have just finished the mission and havnt entered the room just yet. I've searched online on how to but i'm failing to find any guides.

I think just save quit b4 you leave the room. I never tried it or cared to cuz the snowman dlc does the same thing only better.

Why would you farm that ? Never heard of it giving anything good.
It's way better to farm snowflake or loot midgets and chest by them in wildlife preservation thingy.

I don't think the place is farmable. If you save/quit/restart when you are in there, you will restart in Marcus' shop, in the firing range.
I have been through there many, many times and have not found a legendary.

You maybe could get lucky and get a good E-tech weapon or maybe even a legendary/pearl, but those odds are incredible small and you would have got that from any loot source anyway then

Ps. also found a Storm sniper from one of these spider nests or what to call them in frostburn canyon while i farmed Scorch aka the fake fire god, normally these things only gives you some cash or a random low level item. But sometimes the fairy godmother can shine on ya!

There are far better chests to farm in game. Heroes' Pass is probably the best one since you can load into normal, casually walk to the end of the pass, go into the next area only to reenter Heroes' Pass from the back entrance, quit to the main menu, and then load up into UVHM. From there you can open the chest right in front of you an infinite number of times by save/quit/load/repeat with a small chance of receiving a legendary and an even smaller chance of receiving a gen 1 pearl.

Read only isn't exactly what I would call legit.

Read only is for quest uniques, why would you try to read only farm chests?

you do realise everything in a loot chest is randomly generated, right ?

If z00t says it can't be farmed - it can't be farmed.

Not entirely sure but I think I've only ever found one legendary in there anyway (leg mechro). Could be wrong though. Got that either in there or the locked cell in the bloodshot stronghold.

It really can be farmed and easily on the PC constantly restoring your saved games. I got there two legendary pistols, legendary assassin mode and purple relic with huge bonus to FFYL

I farm the chest room on every playthrough I do. Learn how to read-only farm, it works very well and easily, slight downside is that you cant really keep items from multiple runs unless you leave the room and place the item in claptraps stash before reloading. Why would you revive such a pointless run... and why would anybody make such dumb suggestions as read-only farming that run?
There are countless other spots where you can load-farm chests where you do not need to Cheat like with read-only-farming, where you can also keep the other stuff if you like.
Aside from the fact that there are several easy farmable bosses and many other ways that are all easier to get decent equipment from.
