ive never had a lag/ latency issue with this games coop.
P2P works just fine.
This isnt a reaction shooter where you need those few ms latency to pull off your shots in PvP. In fact theres no PvP either, paying for dedicated server infrastructure is expensive and im sure gearbox could afford it, but why bother when your games main focus is coop.
It's a coop game, you don't need dedicated servers when Steam servers are perfect for the job.
Because this is not a competitive PvP game. Dedicated servers will mean that the game will only be playable as long as the Developers / Publishers can be bothered keeping the severs running.
Dedicated servers mean always-connected to the interwebs. Not everybody can do that or even wants to do that. Oh darn. My ISP is doing maintenance work and my internet is down. And I was so looking forward to a game as well.
So, kindly explain why BL3 should have dedicated servers then. What do you see are the benefits? The absolute must have features and benefits of dedicated servers that the game's developers and publishers seem to have overlooked?
All of the Borderlands games are single player games with co-op added. They are not multplayer.
Why should I have to suffer because someone else is a WIFi warrior and refuses to use a land line?
Boo hoo. How are you suffering?
How are you getting on with my previous questions btw?
who cares about your questions?
You should be more concerned with answering my questions, why should I have to suffer because of WIFI warriors causing me to teleport everywhere because they refuse to use a LAN cable.
>who cares about your questions?
Amazing way to show that you have no intention of partaking in a discussion, just here to vent.
Maybe because it is MY thread? you are free to go make your own thread.
back on topic Wifi Warriors have no business hosting any game. People like me who have invested in using a LAN Cable and a proper PC and good internet shouldn't have to suffer from WIFI Warriors.
Who are you to decide that? They bought the game so they have every right to enjoy it the way they want. If you are joining their lobbies, then you have absolutely no right to say that. You can kick people from your lobbies if you so despise "Wi-Fi Warriors" though.
Wifi = Wlan
this is called steams discussions forum you post here to discuss.
its not YOUR thread to begin with, you are just the OP infact its in an open forum and after 7 comments you even loose the ability to delete it
P2P is fine servers would be a bad decision for games like these
answer the Questions :rage_face_emoji_skintone_2: <- whens unicode emoticons @steam
don´t quote me bye
Also - XD your ignorance is golden.
Mobile internet is often lower latency than normal landline.
Aside from that by how you act you wouldn't even join a game if you knew your connection is perfect cause then you could no longer blame the "Laaagggg" for your lack of skill.
