So those without Lilith DLC can no longer do Digistruct Peak?

I have that DLC so this does not affect me. Nevertheless this is an important issue that needs a resolution.

Many here, that missed out on the free dlc, have reported that they can no longer reach OP levels because the cap has be increased to 80, thereby not allowing them to do Digistruct Peak.

In essence, those who bought UHVM Pack 2 (with the promise of more levels/OP levels) Cannot use this pack / Digistruct Peak, because of the new level cap.

This sounds very shady to me.

A lot of the comments I have seen in the numerous threads about Lilith DLC have simply suggested those with this issue simply purchase the DLC. This does not compute with me.

I deleted the Lilith DLC, then loaded up an old character at level 72, and sure enough, the OP levels are no longer available. Upon re-installing the DLC, and gibbing the same character to level 80, and the OP levels return.

This is a major oversight on Gearbox's behalf. Surely they are aware of this issue.

I made this post after reading someone mentioning that now the UVHM Pack 2 is useless, yet is still sold. With no indication that (now) you would need the Lilith DLC for the UVHM Pack 2 to actually work.

Surely this is now a false advertising issue. And the store page should be changed to reflect the necessity of Lilith DLC.

I would have thought it would be relatively easy for the game to check if you have the Lilith DLC or not and to adjust the OP / Digistruct Peak requirements accordingly.

This also affects the Handsome Collection, in that those buying it are also locked out of UVHM Pack 2 due to Lilith DLC not being a part of that collection.

Let me know if you affected by this. It would be interesting how many are.

Dead horse is dead. All is as you have perceived. Gearbox has decided this is how it will be. It's $15 USD for crying out loud. It will go on sale for much less before long.

That's all well and good, but does not negate the fact that those whom (even recently) purchased the handsome collection are actually getting shafted, and unable to use content (UVHM Pack 2) they have paid for.

If a new comer got the Handsome Collection on the last sale, and then bought the Commander Lilith DLC, it would still be less than I paid for the Season Pass for this game alone.

Sure, it would be nice if they had made the DLC so that nothing changed unless you got it, so those without it could still do level 72 OP8. I don't know why they didn't, they may have had a good reason, I don't know.

Sure, it would be nice if the DLC was priced lower, but it's not and going on about it here will be fruitless as the people who make those calls, don't frequent this forum.

Anyone who doesn't have the new DLC and wants it, will need to buy it. It's really as simple as that.

Technically it should still be possible to roll back the games version to a release from before the lilith dlc was released.By doing that players without the dlc might still be able to play OP levels.

Honestly I agree that this is a pretty ♥♥♥♥ move by gearbox,and it counts as false advertising for the UVHM Upgrade Pack. IMO they shouldn't have increased the level cap, but even if they did they really should've let lvl 72 players get their OP levels without the new DLC. You should try posting about this on the gearboxforums.
