SHiFT codes for Borderlands 3 are already redeemable for Steam

Gearbox knows what's up. If you redeem SHiFT codes for Borderlands 3 in the Gearbox web site it gives you the option to redeem them for Epic Games or Steam.

Hmm I don't get that option, of course I'm only linked through Steam and redeeming keys without having BL3 or Epic.

That is really interesting. I'm ignorant in finding shift keys, would you be able to provide a screenshot or a code so I could test it myself?

CHKB3-FJT9J-SK3K5-T33JJ-95J56 this is one for BL3 I used this morning, and I don't even own BL3. Entered on Shift website. Check the sticky for shift codes, last few pages of the comments section.

Another option is entering the code through the VIP site if that doesn't work.

As for SHiFT codes, they're all over the place. I usually find them on Reddit since they're compiled there from all over the internet.

Awesome, thank you for the tip. Probably wont even play this game since CyberPunk comes out a few weeks prior to BL3 but I will have keys in case I do.

It depends on your linked accounts like it allways have been. It has nothing to do with a steam release (if you didn´t link steam you wont get that option).
If you link an xbox account without owning the game you can even claim the key for xbox (basicly wasting the code since you have to claim them ingame via mail too before they expire)
The reason for this is they just copied everything from bl2 and added epic and didn't remove steam option yet.

Hopefully we won't need the Epic launcher at all as I refuse to use their service in any way.

are BL3 golden keys, or whatever the equivilant is just as unsecured as BL2/TPS?

aka you can just find the premier club save file for BL2, or profile save for TPS and set the number to heart's desire?
