+1
I always buy from GOG when I can, if only for the fact that they don't put DRM nonsense in their games. I've bought all of the Gladius stuff on GOG, including the new Aeldari DLC. Never had a problem with anything.
Quoting for truth.
+1 from me as well
I got Gladius on Steam first because of whatever sale or bundle it was in at the time when I wanted to buy it, but in general I prefer GOG. Also getting DRM free installers just "feels" nice ... and in case present day platforms fail it's probably much more future-proof.
The worst thing that happened to me with GOG (though it was entirely on the developer) was when a game I bought there implemented mod support, but exclusively handled that via steam workshop. I still feel like punching that dev.
Factorio is a niche product and so is Gladius. But the amount of mods for factorio are almost unlimited. The Workshop is a dead end for modders unless the game is steam only.
