Complete Guide to play MvM (Classes weapons, upgrades and strategies)!
Hello guys,

after playing a lot of MvM I've decided to create a guide to anyone who has interest in playing better or just see another way to play/buy upgrades. It's more based for advanced maps (any map). The weapons that I describe below are just the ones I use. You can change it and custom your upgrades that you see are better for your game. If you have suggestions/critics feel free to post your comment here. Enjoy:

- Scout: Shortstop
Mad Milk
The Fan O'War

Upgrades:
1°: Max your Movement Speed.
2°: Upgrade your Mad Milk to slow down robots and spend on Recharge Rate (maxing this is optional).
3°: Now, depends which wave is the next you are going to fight, if it has more Demos/Soldiers upgrade your Blast Resistance. If it has more Heavies/Scouts with scatters upgrade your Bullet

Resistance.
4°: When you have the Resistances at max feel free to use the credit you have as you wish (I usually upgrade my Health Regen or Jump Height, and of course, canteens).

Strategy: You are the credit guy. Try at max to don't lose any dollar, it will help you and all your team (don't forget that your health will increase when you grab the credits). Milk hordes and when giants show up mark them with your Fan O'War.

- Soldier: The Beggar's Bazooka
The Buff Banner
The Escape Plan

Upgrades:
1°: Upgrade your Bazooka Reload Speed at max.
2°: Upgrade your Buff Banner Duration at max.
3°: Ammo Capacity, Firing Speed, Projectile Speed and Clip Size you can feel free to chose what order you want to max them. You can also balance the upgrades, you don't need to focus maxing one.
4°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (or need).

Strategy: Kill as much as you can. Use your Buff Banner when ♥♥♥♥ gets serious. Buy Crit Canteens before hard waves.

- Pyro (I have many ways to upgrade my Pyro, but i'm going to describe only one):

Flame Thrower
The Scorch Shot
The Postal Pummeler

Upgrades:
1°: Flame Thrower - Airblast Force at max.
2°: Flame Thrower - Upgrade your Ammo Capacity twice (or max it)
3°: Flame Thrower - Distribute your credits upgrading Burn Damage and Burn Time at the same time.
4°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (upgrading Resistances could be useful depending the wave).

Strategy: Burn all the robots you can. Stay close to Spies-Spawns when they are in the waves. Don't hesitate in using your airblast on Giant Scouts, Sentry Busters and to restart the bomb cycle. Übercharge canteen is very useful for you.

- Demoman: Grenade Launcher/The Loch-n-Load
The Scottish Resistance
The Frying Pan

Upgrades:
1°: The Scottish Resistance - Reload Speed at max.
2°: The Scottish Resistance - Firing Speed at max.
3°: The Scottish Resistance - Upgrade the Clip Size once or twice.
4°: The Scottish Resistance - Try to max your Damage.
5°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (or need).

Strategy: Place your stickies before the wave starts. Try to kill übercharge robot Medics before they activate it. If there is a Medic with Kritzkrieg make him use his übercharge to shot crit stickies. If there isn't a Medic, buy crit cantees for hard waves/tanks.

*Demoknight: The Bootlegger
The Splendid Screen
Nessie's Nine Iron

Upgrades:
1°: Max your Attack Speed.
2°: Upgrade your Health On Kill at least twice.
3°: Upgrade your +2s Crits On Kill at max.
4°: Upgrade your Damage at least twice.
5°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (or need).

Strategy: Just kill.

- Heavy: The Brass Beast
Shotgun
Gloves Of Running Urgently

Upgrades:
1°: The Brass Beast - Destroy Projectiles.
2°: The Brass Beast - Upgrade your Ammo Capacity at least twice.
3°: The Brass Beast - Upgrade your Health On Kill at least twice.
4°: The Brass Beast - Upgrade your Firing Speed at least three times.
5°: The Brass Beast - Upgrade your Projectile Penetration at least onde.
6°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (or need).

Strategy: Kill all the robots you can and protect the sentries from rockets/pipes. When a Tank shows up focus in destroying it. Hard waves buy crit canteens.

- Engineer: Justice Frontier/Shotgun
The Wrangler
The Jag

Upgrades:
1°: Max your Building Health.
2°: Upgrade at least once your Dispenser Range.
3°: The Jag - Upgrade at least twice your Attack Speed.
4°: Distribute your credits between Sentry Firing Speed (at least twice) and Max Metal Capacity (at least twice).
5°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (upgrading your Resistances it's very interesting).

Strategy: Always move your sentry to keep shooting a Tank. The instant build canteen is your best friend.

- Medic: The Overdose
Kritzkrieg
Übersaw

Upgrades:
1°: Distribute between ÜberCharge Rate and +2s Über Duration (both at max).
2°: Share Power Ups.
3°: Now you can chose what you want to upgrade first between Heal Rate, Max Overheal and Overheal Time.
4°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (or need).

Strategy: Heal everyone in your team and buy canteens to share with they.

- Sniper: The Huntsman
Jarate
Kukri/Bushwacka/Shahanshah

Upgrades:
1°: Projectile Penetration.
2°: Upgrade your Jarate to slow down enemies and spend on Recharge Rate (maxing this is optional).
3°: Upgrade your Reload Speed at max.
4°: Ammo Capacity at least once.
5°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (or need).

Strategy: Always use your Jarate.

- Spy: L'Etranger
The Big Earner
The Dead Ringer

Upgrades:
1°: Max your Robot Sapper Power.
2°: Max your Armor Penetration.
3°: Max your Attack Speed.
4°: Now you can upgrade anything you want (or need).

Strategy: When a wave has übercharge Medics sap them before they activate it. Backstab the giants when you are with the upgrades.

Ok, I see one problem: You're assuming that this will work for EVERY map and also that we all have the items mentioned. Some of the items are quite hard to get without buying or trading, such as L'Etranger, The Postal Pummeler and Shortstop. Just an honest reply.

Thats funny. Postal Pummeler is actually axtinguisher and you can get that for half a scrap
This thread is dead, why revive it?
