Doesn't change anything if they can't use it properly.
Except most new pyros end to have the scorch shot or shotgun. Once had a new guy say gas passer was OP because it deals 350 damage!
I still blame content makers. They recommend pyro so new players pick it. They proceed to be useless the entire game because they never get resistance and since pyro dies to a sneeze they're basically useless. Half of my mvm queuing is me just leaving 75% of the servers because of low tour pyros
can u bleive that!!!
If you’re looking to not leave games, you really should learn how to solo carry. Adopt a mindset where it doesn’t matter how braindead your teammates are, as long as you yourself know how to play. All Two Cities missions can be completed with 3 good people, so 5 braindeads and 1 good player is surely doable. Also, I don’t think anyone who isn’t taking advice in-game has read a guide in the first place, so placing blame on content makers is a tad illogical.
That's actually the major point of GP. I just hope this gets nerfed into the ground... A man can hope.
Which content makers ?
I'm serious, we are working on calling out content makers, especially Youtubers that says crap about MvM and, indeed, there's a good chunk.
Aaaaaaand you might be part of the problem.
A decent Pyro will rarely rely on resistances, but more on movement speed and exploiting aggro. That's how you play Pyro, unless you're using the GP auto-win feature.
Already played enough mvm to not carry new players. When they got bad loadout+upgrades its easier for me to just leave an look for another server. Some players will intentionally be bad too just to be carried by somebody
The weapons you mentioned both require a decent amount of upgrades investment in it, averaging at around ~2000$ to start reliably dealing with streams of robots, and a minimum of knowledge of the class or weapon itself.
Pyro just needs to spend 400$ to turn his jarate like throwable into a death cluster.
