Kicking in MVM and why it should be disabled

Since I started playing MVM I was really glad to see all the team work everyone was doing, good players and even when a new one in MVM got in, the team usually teached him quickly what to do and what class and weapon to choose, everything is fine until you see that guy with +500 tours, telling everyone what to do and kicking if you make a single mistake, sure, I get it, we all want our loot at the end of the game, but being so desperate of the probability of getting an australium to the point of kicking for an insignifican't thing? In my opinion kicking should get disabled in MVM, because the most ''experienced" players sometimes abuse of it, and all the hard work you did during that round it's all gone just because "You wasted Uber once" "You didn't exploded the stickies on time once" "You didn't placed the dispenser right once".

Oh boy, here we go again. How many thread do we have speaking about removing votekick ? Well too many that's for sure.

And it will go the same way : beginner got kicked too much, ask for votekick to be removed, we explain why it won't work, we ask for a replacement solution, the original poster comes with ideas that don't solve the problem or are even worst than votekick, and the thread dies.

If you got kicked for such petty things, maybe it's not worth playing with those players in the first place. Just ignore them, only takes note of the actual mistakes you made, learn from them, and move on.

Vote-kicking should be removed. Instead, the interface that today initiates a vote should send a notification to Francis that allows him to pick one of the following options: Kick target, Kick initiator, Kick both, Kick neither.

"Kick neither" is there for show.

Honestly, so are "Kick target" and "Kick initiator".

Jeez, people need to realize that there will always be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, votekick or not.

Mentioned this in other threads that popped up for this but for about 2 months mvM was unable to votekick. Anytime you tried to initiate one it'd just tell you that you had to wait a long time before you could start a vote ("5,500 more seconds" if I remember right).

The game mode became completely unplayable.

• Players that have never touched MvM before dove into advanced and expert expecting to be carried. But they didn't get carried because there were more newbies in over their head than there were real players playing MvM and nothing could weed them out.
  
  
• Trolls would join MvM just to take up a slot and aggravate the teams knowing they were safe from reprocussion. With Pyro they could airblast a bomb all the way to the hatch. With engineer they could sentry buster their own teammates.
  
  
• Many players went afk and just never came back. Some even popped into the game already afk for some reason. They'd sit in the spawn for an hour or more. We couldn't do anything about it.

There are downsides for both ways. But only one leaves the game at least playable. Pubbing became impossible during those two months. You either played with friends or you didn't get past wave 1.

Just to clarify I don't mean just "most games."

You'll run into that type of person. It's just gonn ahappen. Best thing you can do is shrug it off and join another room. Or, if have friends, you can play with them.

I run into those type of guys an more in overwatch PVE. Their verson of dungeons or MvM is equally worse an in most cases worse of the worse. MAybe RPG games, MMOS, MVM etc ate too Hard for most guys to learn an play okay properly?

Kicking SHOULD be allowed because it's usually the only way to get the game going by removing a player.
