Others ways to obtain Australium weapons?
So last summer, i tried to complete a few tours on MvM to try and get an australium weapon. However, as many of you may have experienced, the people there will tend to kick you from the server as often as possible. So my question is: Are there any other ways to get australium weapons(without getting them from the market)?

Trading for them.

Australiums aren't worth it anyway. Buy some good games instead.
People can just download the mods for them. Aussies just exist to prove how lucky you are.
Buying or trading is the best and cheapest way to get an aussie, even better than trying your luck in Mann Up.

After, people tends to kick on sight because you are playing/upgrading badly, or picking a class that do not help with the actual situation. If you want, we can help you with this. Just tell us a story, with as much details as possible, where you got kicked.

Ok, sounds like a good idea! What things could I trade in order to get australium?

Prices vary between austrailiums, but to get a good one will cost at least 15 keys in pure. Stuff like scatter, sniper rifle or rocket launcher will be a pretty hefty cost.

Which, in terms of Real Money, is like US$30-40ish.

True, but he was asking for what kind of things to trade for. I mean he could put some low value unusuals in (assuming unusual overpay) to get them if he was desperate.

Plus the steam market tends to put a small mark up of around ~1-3 keys extra for taxes and the convenience of not having to try haggling a trader to drive the price down.

“buying is the CHEAPEST way to get one” when a Australium Scattergun is 92.16

You can go dozens, even hundreds of tours trying to get Australiums, and even then you aren’t guaranteed to get one you want or one that’s has a high value. Ticket money stacks up, not to mention the time you put in.
Buying is the best way to get items, both cost wise and time wise. It’s also safer than gambling away at the slot machine that is MvM.
