Nope i do.

And yes its annoying. Can just go to main menu tho and go back to title screen.

Had to do it to hide helmeT XD

I do as well. Is there really no way of switching? That seems like a significant oversight

Have XBox360 Wireless controller. How to setup it to work with game? Wanna try my big TV. Also, it's very sad that there is no in-game switching between controls. My guess it's somehow related to split-screen coop.

You just press A (on controller) on title screen. Boom controller

Just plug in the controller and press 'A' rather than a keyboard button to start

Yeah, it works! And there is completly different user interface with gamepad controls. So, of course it can't be reloaded on the fly. Switching from mouse-keyboard to gamepad would be difficult. But switching from gamepad to traditional controls shouldn't be problematic. It will quite useful for players with wireless gamepads, when battery suddnely dies.

You cannot do this because the entire user interface changes depending on input device. You'll have to back-out to the main menu and switch to mouse/keyboard, at which point it loads the UI for kb&m input.

So which one do you guys like better?

Controller is nice for holding A to see the scannable area. But the mouse-keyboard has way better inventory management and character management (unless I'm missing something)

With controller, is there a way to mimic the pressing "I" on keyboard, where you see everyone's inventory all at once?

For keyboard, is there a way to scan the area for usable items?

Controller seems like it would be better suited for a single party member - is keyboard the way to go for efficiency?

Controller, by far. I was going to put off playing D:OS 2 until controller support was added, but shortly before launch they announced controller support and I was elated :) It's a much more enjoyable experience for me, on a laptop, to use a controller than a touchpad.

You just have to get used to radial menus. It's kind of the standard input scheme for gamepads in RPGs. After that, it's nowhere near as clunky as you're suggesting :)

This would be nice. The game doesn't recognise your controller if you leave it for a break and it switches off and this would stop me having to restart the game to get it working again.

Does anyone elses right stick not rotate the camera. If so how do you correct the problem.

Special K can help with that, it has a feature called "XInput Placeholders". Basically, if your controller turns off, it holds the place with a virtual controller until you turn it back on.

It's a useful feature in many games with this problem, including God Eater 2 and Watch_Dogs 2. Strangely ... everything with 2 in it? =P

Once installed, press Ctrl + Shift + Backspace and then go to the Input Management tab / Gamepads, and the rest I already described. Just tick XInput Slot 0

I stopped with keyboard\mouse. Because you can play with mouse in one hand and hold a skull of fallen enemy full of wine in another hand. You can't do it with gamepad.
