I can't wait to see how this turns out.
No idea why early footage of a brand new game caused some "fans" to go ballistic, and I hope this incident doesn't deter the devs from doing what they think is best for the next installment of this series!
As for the game going 3D, I have full confidence in the developer and believe that he has the capability to take advantage of what 3D graphics can offer. This game will certainly come out better than the previous series.
As I said in another thread, I feel like we have to rethink a lot of things now to move onto the correct direction. The last thing I want is to make a "mediocre experience". I love games. I want to make fun games. Reading the feedback we've got lately has really taken my heart out of the project. For now, I'd appreciate if no further discussion about "Momo V" was held, because the project might be changed/scrapped completely.
I appreciate the messages and feedback, and I understand this is not the kind of game most people want out of a series that was always 2D platformers. I'm extremely sorry for disappointing you like this. I never meant to betray the expectations of our fans. I'm sorry.
For now, we will just keep developing some ideas I have, most likely not related to Momodora. I feel like that's what's best.
I always read how certain series become mediocre after they start pandering to the masses, there has to be some truth in that
