Dorothy Crane outcome (Spoilers)
Well....I took time to investigate crane and took the charm option. She became infected and turned into a skal and I had to kill her. Whitechapel lost the pillar and now is hovering around serious and critical through my intervention in keeping people healthy. Now...if the dialouge options let's say spare was a tiny bit more clear I would of picked that. Since I also wanted to keep the hospital open and allow her to keep her job, but spare is the "better" outcome.

Yeah...sometimes you want to do good but it just doesn't work out ; /

Game teaches you something though, got to live with your decisions and move on. John had to move on from what happened to him and his family, so we have to move on with what we've done.

Since i spared her instead of charming her - was there any specific reason given why she became a Skal?

At least from my understanding charming people wouldn't transform them into Skals... or is she transforming because the charming was somewhat "enforced" on her (she tried to resist)?

But on the other hand:
It's pretty obvious that charming was the middle ground choice (and not the good one) - you are still enforcing your will on someone via "vampire powers". Not that nice.

Yup, it's a lesson in a manner of speaking now I have to take over and watch after the district. I think this choice was a "trap" most would assume working on unlocking the option would lead to the "correct" path. But welp, she turns into a skal.

I think the person you were trying to save early on when you were perfoming the operation with her turned and maybe infected her?

But that can't be the reason. The patient is going to die in every choice and would transform into a Skal anyway if that's the case - which would result into her being transformed in every situation if she's still alive.

Thanks, now I dont feel bad about it anymore :D Yes it is unfortunate that you just can dominate her to "just" forget about whatshernameagain and keep going. Also I dont really understand why hunters came, there was no obvious reason for me.

If you talk to people in the district after "charming" her, you hear them talk about how she became distracted, careless and got herself infected. Some of the in-game literature you can find talks about mesmerism's ability to "break" human minds.

You done broke her guv.

She will get infected in both peaceful outcomes with her?I mean,if you use non-hinted version, where you ask her to resign, she'll become Skal anyway?

I think it’s only if you “charm” her since the way you do it pretty much turns her into a vegetable.

No, she's only transforming into a Skal if you charm her. If you let her go it's all fine and she'll survive (and is available as a merchant later on).

Ah ok. I've read that note and thought so but wasn't sure if that's the case here. Thanks for clearing it up.

She becomes a Skal, because she's a bleeding heart liberal who freely associates with a bunch of filthy immigrants. That's why I chose to kill her and permanently shut down her private clinic in the process.

I then went on to kill everybody in the Whitechapel district, except for the bully, because his mesmerize level was too high.

Just doing my civic duty to keeping the streets of London safe from disease!

I think you need to work on your reading skills. There is dialogue that quite clearly tells you she's an immigrant from Romania (the same country as the rest of the immigrants) using a fake name. It's also pretty obvious she's not British just by listening to her accent.

Well there you go, her becoming a Skal was inevitable!

odd in my game it worked she just sat in a chair looked confused, and after in the character screen it says she is missing.

If you charmed her she's sitting around confused until the next rest. After the next day she's supposed to be transformed into a Skal as far as i know and you can encounter her in her pharmacy where you can kill her.
