1. If they were to do that, this would be untrue to life. NVA soldiers were from the North, where the accent is different from the South. NLF soldiers, it would be more historically accurate since they're South Vietnamese but fight for the North, but the voice lines wouldn't make sense, I mean, a Vietcong calling for air support and napalm?
2. The devs have already said it would be very expensive to record new voices, so if we're going to get any, it likely won't be soon.
After all, the voice actor is a vietnamese-american.
but honestly, RS2 fugged up voice acting wise compared to the preceding games.
