Are you guys using the mouse to play? You can use the keyboard for this part (spacebar and arrow keys).

Yeah, even using the keyboard, I just am not very good at Space Invaders. :( I might have another go at it one of these days. Then again, I might not. I don't mind puzzles, but this kind of thing just annoys me no end.

Ah, right. I remember that there were a few people on the Amanita forum who were more than a little irritated with having to guide that key to the lock...most of them had no idea the key could shoot. :p

Same. Uninstalled at this part. I was already on the tipping point after 5 in a row. It just felt like needless padding.

got the space invaders coin on my first try within like 5 minutes. sorry guys but its super easy. i thought it was a nice break from the typical point and click puzzle solving. if you can't get past it ask an adult to help... video games are supposed to offer challenges. what a terrible post.

Ditto. I thought it was fun (and really easy). Though, I can understand the frustration one would have if they don't like reflex-based challenges. Sometimes you just want to puzzle-solve

It is indeed really easy. Go actually play Space Invaders and you'll see why this is easy. There's only ever one shot at you at one time. The enemies don't speed up at all or change. Nor do they fly at you.

You just sit there moving back and forth. Shooting at slow enemies who barely ever actually shoot your way. I do think the 1000 points is a bit much, it's so boring up to that point. But I've now done the game 4 total times.
