Hi everyone!
Machinarium, our first full-length game originally released in 2009, turns 15 years old today!
The Independent Games Festival has been around for over 20 years and now, for the first time ever, comes a Steam event dedicated not only to this year’s IGF winners and nominees but also to some of the greatest indie games that succeeded at the festival in the years before. Until 20 July, you can grab dozens of awesome games at a discount and even try a few demos, such as the beautifully stylish Nirvana Noir by Feral Cat Den or 11bit’s latest title, The Alters. Machinarium was awarded for 'Excellence in Visual Art' back in 2009.
We’re excited to introduce Phonopolis - a new hand-crafted adventure set in a dystopian city made of cardboard where everybody obeys the oppressive Leader's orders - except for one young man… Enjoy the first teaser trailer! It’s still going to take us a generous amount of time to finish the game - please don’t expect it to come out within the next 12 months - but we’re so glad to finally be able to share the first bits and pieces with you.
The latest Amanita Design game has just landed on Steam!
As you’ve probably noticed, Machinarium for both Windows and Mac received several updates over the past few weeks, with the last one dropping just a few minutes ago. On both systems, we’ve made several tweaks in regards to controller support and behavior, so you should now have an easier time playing Machinarium using more types of controllers.
We're very happy to announce Happy Game, the upcoming adventure from the creators of CHUCHEL and Botanicula, and our first actual horror game is coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch next year in spring. You can now add Happy Game to your Steam wishlist. ːchuchelsmileː
