"Full" screen doesn't work?

Regardless of which combination of settings I choose I can't get the game to actually go into full screen mode. All it does is maximize the window; the title bar and task bar are still visible. Any way to work around this?

Not sure if it matters, but I have a 1440p/144hz monitor.

The recent patch broke the game, including performance, music and fullscreen, just wait for the next patch, will be around 10 august i think

Yea, it's so disappointing.
They make a patch and then they need another patch to fix what the previous patch broke.

Happened quite a few times now.
Especially when I thought "It's been a few days, I wanna play Disgaea now!".
Nope, another weekend without Disgaea.

Alt+Tab out and back fixes this for me.

Pretty Prinny, assuming it still works with the recent patches, has a proper borderless mode. I'm guessing this is what NISA is trying to accomplish but hasn't quite figured out how to remove th eborders yet? :)
