now, just waiting to have a version working with amd ^^ But thanks for the effort anyways!
edit: hehe, finally the video Michael was referring to, when we talked at gamescom ;)
I'm playing it right now, it's running really damn nicely :D
Thanks rockfish, you guys rock
Because "Astrokill", an other space game with this same Engine has the latest version and the crash has been fixed :
https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealEngine/pull/3901
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101977
I will buy the game to test it and report informations about issues.
I have an AMD Rx560 + Mesa 17.2 + llvm5
I tried going into the keybindings and setting them manually, when I went to set them manually it set them as "Left Stick Down" and "Right Stick Down" when I click the buttons down
After doing this, it's left stick down that makes me boost instead of left click
Just thought I'd mention this, anyone else getting an issue like this or just me?
Edit: going to use antimicro for the timebeing for those two buttons, everything else seems to function correctly on my gamepad so far
Release Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya 64-bit
Kernel Linux 4.10.0-33-generic x86_64
MATE 1.18.0
I'm running on a pretty old card now, a 760 2gb coupled with my i5 4690k and 900p is my native
Spent alot of time playing this game on the Windows build and while I got FPS drops they were very minimal with maybe the maximum FPS drop of about 45fps in most heavy scenes
But on this build it seems to shoot straight down to 30fps, I've not been using linux long but understand it's implementation of vsync is different because of X server or whatever
From what I can gather it's using double buffer and not triple buffer?
I turned Vsync off and that drop to 30fps suddenly turned to only a drop to 54fps.. While I don't mind tearing my cooling isn't really sufficient enough to run uncapped
Would be nice to be able to just limit the framerate without vsync, or if there is already a way to do so through a config file would come in handy for folk like me with older specs
