So I've been encountering crashes around the year 2280 whilst playing and I'm not sure why. I first encountered it a few days ago on my Enclave playthrough, I had defeated the NCR and most of the north by 25 December 2279 and was preparing to go to war with the Caeser's Legion and when I went to put a border on Caeser's Legion, it crashed my game. I thought to myself "Hmm, thats strange" so I decide to try again and see if it happens again, and what does it do? It crashes. I then thought it might be the save, so today I started a new playthrough as another nation (Ejército Mexicano) and I had defeated most of the nations in Mexico, and was about to declare on the last 3 nations but 2280 rolled around and the game mysteriously crashes. And I'm not sure why this keeps happening. Does anyone know? And if they do then please tell me what is going on and how I can fix it.

Might be mod conflict (possibly due to Nikos Modpack) or it's due to update 1.15.4.


If it's second - RMB on game in library > properties > beta > click on "none" and choose 1.15.3.
If it keeps crashing, it's due to mod. If not, finish your playthrough and then do it again but this time move back to "none".

How would I go about changing the game version if I were to change it to 1.15.3?
