Well, that's not how things work.
The reason Paradox have costly DLC's atm, is because they had a drop in income in 2021. Fact still stands, they earn 1,900 million SEK in 2022, more than ever. Saying they need to put prices like that on their DLC's is a bit... You know.

Developers earn money from other things than sales, like sponsors and other things. I assume you'll google some things now and learn :) Have a nice day.

Do you normally say such ignorant things while paying two arms & a leg for basic healthcare that is tax-funded & freely accessible to everyone in civilized countries?

Firstly capitalism does not force you to purchase anything, second 12$ is on 2023 average about 30 mins work, so, no, not expensive.

Value and price are related but different horses.

Using my patented price per minute scale then the 10,000 hours HOI4 has been running on my PC with all play related DLC at an all inclusive cost of £100 (was way less tbh, but I hate checking and it makes for easy math) then that's £0.01 or 1 penny an hour.....so both a darned low price and superb value.

If this is indeed "capitalism like EA" then they're pricing way low to optimise profits from addicts like myself?

This is a corporate welfare system, not capitalism.

You forget to state why that drop in income was. They blew millions on lamplighters league, a woke failure.
That is where your money goes. To failed woke projects.

Value is relative and variable to each potential customer, the price however is a constant.

He is a one trick pony.

It rhymes with woke, so easy to remember, so games like Elden ring which the poster also dont like and says is woke, but has made bucket loads so kinda makes him look like a dullard, becomes his next line as tho they is not the problem. I was going to go ♥♥♥♥ his mama, but the queue was to long.

It strikes me as one of those people that only regurgitate what they hear others say instead of having any thoughts of their own.
