considering paradox does about 1 dlc a year, probably 4 years at minimum to go, not including other stuff like an air, AI, or focus reworks. most likely it wont be another 6 years until they even start working on it, if they decide to even do so. could easily be well into the 2030s release date.

The next game will have a different engine and run better at the very least. They've said their newer games will actually use up to 8 cores. Playing Stellaris, HOI4, and EU4 is painful because of how bad the performance is.

Yes, it is. Because the only way to play in a such "railroad" game as HoI4 is to play for achievements where the only opponent is random incidents.
The fourth Part is good 👍🏻. It get a fully Rework in most Parts and more is coming. As well as it’s Mooding-Friendly and get many cool Mods already. Especially it’s playable about easy handling.
