MEFO BILLS!!!!!!
Am i the only one who hates MEFO bills, i have just finished invading Poland and because i didn't pay them i have consumer goods 20%. THIS IS F*CKING CRIPPLING, i now have no civ factories to trade nor build so now i have no oil or rubber, so my war machine has practically stopped completely. And i have this effect for 190 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MEFO Bills affect after you finish a war. If you have taken out Yugoslavia, Austria, Czecho then you can decreaase the cost. You gonna have to deal with it

mefo bills lower the amount of civ factories you use for consumer goods up to you declare war. only after you have finished a war, you will have to pay the bills back.
the length and output increase the longer you use mefo bills untill you declare war.

you do not NEED to renew the mefo bills from the start, and then onluy have 60 days (i think) to repay the bills.
or you can renew the bills, and declare war on someone in 37 who has a huge pile of civ factories, and then get more civ factories than you need to repay the bills.

It is actually implemented specifically so you can't (or shouldnt) war as Germany too early. You lose the -5% civ factories and 25% construction speed bonuses which make a huge impact.

If you somehow take poland or friends without starting WW2, then MEFO comes knocking and kicks your arse. Then the Allies come knocking and kick your arse again.

I literally always pay them back as soon as possible. Don't want to deal with that stuff later on!

Yeah that's not a problem because i never play with historical A.I so Poland will NEVER join the Allies.

i would say that it depends on which of their friends you take.

started with declaring war on east indies and france. battle lasted for about 3 days in france, and 6 days in holland. had 0,5k dead men. RIP.
puppeted east indies and france, then did case anton to take their fleet.

then went for the allies. used the aquired french fleet to naval invade the other allies, then took out uk to finish the war. (also managed to declare war on czech + romania before uk surrendered.

Germany is the strongest country in the game. Once you learn how to play you will see Germany can easily take over the entire world solo.

USA is alot stronger late game by alot. germany can be easy to counter

i think its more fun to play soviet.
the fact that you can build modern armor units in late 1940 makes them invincible. doesnt matter if i even boost up china to max, so that they will have 1000 divisions, the modern armor hardly notice a speed-dum as i roll over them. lol

I'm having trouble getting Paras to drop, machine wants to drop ALL Paras on one target .
How to fix ?

select no 1 --> select the parachute --> airport --> target --> then the parachute again.
select no 2 --> select the parachute --> airport --> target --> then the parachute again.
repeat untill finished.

MEFO Bills are for Germany the Strongest Things to build up your Economy. You have to watch for the Alert if they are going down to 30 Days. On the last Day (0) you have to upgrade to the next. The MEFO-Bills are running 6 Month per Bill (180 Days) and you have only to upgrade them on the last days.

If you let run them out, your Economy buildup crashes for a long time. If you hate them or not, the best thing is to use them fully up to September / Oktober 1939. So you get more Industry-Cap to build up Streets, Industry (War / Civil like synth. Oil [in the next Patch the Fuelstorages too]). In September / Oktober 1939 the MEFO´s are gone if Germany attack Poland after the Danzig or War-Event.

If you dont´´t use them you will be weak at the Beginning of the War. :steambored:
