And yes, you can have any number of save files.
This is from your review: "When the game auto saves it auto saves over ALL your exsisting saves.... SO DISGUSTED"
I'd like to point out that it's completely false. If you are using the autosave (which is a safety/backup system) as your main save then it is you who is completely at fault.
autosave.hoi4
old_autosave.hoi4
older_autosave.hoi4
every time it saves it renames the old saves down the line first
As was pointed out previously in the thread though it is a backup system. If you don't save your games manually they will be lost which frankly shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone
When loading save files you can either load them from your local drive or from the cloud. By default any game you manually save will be saved to the cloud as I recall.
If you cancel the hook on Ironman he / she can save up to max. of the hard disk. But there are then no rewards on steam.
If the young guys would watch and read correctly they won´t to drop a brick every time. I personaly
We older guys haven´t had so much electronics like today and readed the instruction manuals etc. first. And if there isn´t a instruction manual anyone (electronics / printed) we check the Menus of the Games / Programms longer to see what the rules are in the Game / Programm. So we are in order to avoid to drop a brick.
