worst country?

I would say costa rica since, when they start, they have no factorys, no resources, no divisions, and very little land right on the coast with no navy. Surrounding country's have better resources but pax americas can screw you over before you can declare war.

No iceland is the worst country by far. It only has 100,000 manpower tota(evcen if you have scrapping the barrel you will only have 25,000 manpower and thats much less than anyother country)
And you only have 1 factory slot(excluding the ones you get by focus later in the game)

You forgot to mention that the only way to play as Iceland in the base game is to firstly play as Denmark, and release Iceland then use console commands to the change to Iceland. Which is too much effort in my opinion.

Go into occupied land
Release Iceland
Choose "Play as" instead of "Release as puppet"
Play Iceland, which is now free and NOT a puppet of Denmark.

Ok my mistake, sorry. I've never released a nation before so I assumed you would need console commands to play as the newly released country.

Doesn't seem like anyone's mentioned Mengkukuo or whichever one it is. I haven't played as it, or Manchuko, but I've heard some say it's the worst. Also heard Liberia, but again never played as them.

mengkukuo is japans puppet so japan will take care of you Liberia can take all africa.

I mean, as Albania you can try, but Italy get's a annex focus on you. The only way you can survive is to kill Italy within a couple of years.
