Don't bother with focus. Anschluss, Munich and Fate of Czechoslovakia are the only interesting choices of that tree. The rest is just there to guide the AI.
I tend to prefer to play along with the focuses, but that's just me.
How is the Monarchy tree? Haven't tried it.
Keep in mind that going to war this way will bypass the Rhineland so you may want to go for the four-year plan first instead.
And naturally, get Italy involved if only to have France pull away some troops from the frontline.
When you're at war with Poland, you will bypass the ''Danzig or war'' Focus.
Then when i build my army up, I declare war on Poland, and lastly,
If I'm not already at war with France, I build up my army in my Belgian puppet, and take Paris and some extra cities
