Have you considered that other people are allowed to like things that you don't, and that just because you think something is "lame" doesn't mean that's an objective truth for everybody?

I think the main appeal right now is "Not WoW" and "I do what a streamer does because I can't decide for myself"

You could make a new account and try the trial and see if it has changed to your tastes for yourself though probably better than us guessing what you feel was lame :)

You would probably still find it lame then. It's okay to have a different opinion. The appeal is it's fun, I guess? At least I think it is.

im asking you what the appeal is weeb. simmer down

"weeb" lmfao okay buddy

And why does it matter? Why do other people have to explain or justify themselves to you? If you didn't like it 5 years ago you won't like it now. There is no singular "appeal". The "appeal" is unique to each person playing it. Hence why I asked YOU: "have you considered that people just like things that you don't?"

I dont understand why people started to use word "weeb" in the wrong context.
From dictionary - "A weeb is a derisive term for a non-Japanese person who is so obsessed with Japanese culture that they wish they were actually Japanese."
I like Japanese culture, love to watch anime. But i'm not obsessed with their culture to the point of wanting to be one of them. Japanese work ethic is sucks... If we call people who like japanese media weebs then what do we call people who like other nations entertainment. For example, i often watch american and europe tv series/movies besides anime. So i should be called some kinda "western weeb"?

P.S. Why the ♥♥♥♥ word "j ap" is censored? Its short form of "japanese". When it became a slur? I sometimes dont get western people...

It became a slur back in the '40s.

So, let me be straight. Short version of the actual word is a slur? ...what the ♥♥♥♥. I even see word "rus ki" is censored, for example in Valorant and here. But "rus ki"(or "ruskiy") is phonetic form of russian word "русский"... I'am rus ki myself, dont have any problem with that word.

J*p was the standard derogatory term used by anti-japanese racists following WW2 to refer to pretty much anybody that was of asian descent, and to this day is used by people to promote violence and prejudice against people. That's why it's censored.

besides being at the very top of the tactical/themepark style mmo genre, it has tons of content, amazing music, and fun side-features to play with. it also has more quality of life features than any other game in existence to make everything look and do exactly as u want. at the very least give it a try till u played some dungeons

the funny part of this all is, i bet 99% of the gamers dont know this, so by sensoring this it makes them start conversations like this or do research.. keeping the racism/taboo intact.

So, some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ used short version of actual word as a slur and we now think its okay? By censoring you actually help those people to legitimise this word as an actual slur, not as it first intended purpose. Same with "rus ki". Alas, i will stop this offtopic discussion. Better not to discuss politics on a game forum.

Punishing hatespeech, de-normalizing its use, and making it clear that such language is unacceptable in a functioning society does not "legitimize" anything. Allowing it to go completely unchallenged and be normalized in society does.
