EDIT: Update to v5.2d
- Fixed a very bad bug that could prevent you to play in non-english languages (since v5.2),
- Added unique properties to a couple of pieces of equipment,
- Small balance changes, mostly increasing the hit rates of "Add Status" of several weapons and of Steiner's elemental Magic Sword.
As always, I start with bug fixing and I end up adding more stuff that I like... I really plan to stop now though (until the next bad bug is discovered).
@Psyonicking: I tested and both Ultimas are displayed correctly. I guess your problem was with Trance Kuja since he is the one with a dialog saying "None" next to his Ultima's dialog. Surely this bug comes from "AlternateFantasy" being written after "MoguriFiles" in "Memoria.ini", which is wrong. "AlternateFantasy" should be written BEFORE "MoguriFiles".
oh what are these "unique properties to a couple of pieces of equipment" 👀👀👀👀👀... please dont make me redownload the game for the 20th time just to find out. the last time i redownloaded was to see the earth guardian hit by bad breath so i could witness it in mini form, and to see the invincible airship being docked
(Orichalcon, Defender, Kain's Lance, Duel Claws, Fairy Flute, High Mage Staff, Bistro Fork, Magus Hat, Ninja Gear, Gold Choker and the "exotic" set)
I understand; I must usually uninstall a game before having the space to install another one.
ohoh the Glutton robe increasing HP/MP depending on the number of frogs caught is such a good way to compensate the lack of Frog Drop.
the Lancer counter helps make the equipment more lively too
Sandals havin a random effect is fun!
great work as usual!
Is it supposed to be like this?
You are talking of the Zombie status, not Trouble...
It's not possible to revive a dead Zombie. That has always been the case.
You can revive in "the next fight" because statuses are cured before fighting Beatrix for the 3rd time. That's meant to work like that, yes.
If you can't do that for some reason, then make sure to copy all the files at the right places by reading the "Readme.txt" instructions.
Not really game breaking or anything, and it clears up when you ride the Gargant, but just wanted to put it out there.
it may have something to do with the music resuming at the correct time after a battle. I don't remember if that bug was fixed by an official update or by Memoria.
The messages about the music bug don't concern your problem.
(have the game installed on a m2 sdd)
