Have you tried to run the Memoria.Moguri.Patcher file in C:\Program Files\Moguri Mod?
Edit: I finally got it working. I had moguri mod installed on Disk C, but the game installed on Disk D. I uninstalled both, then reinstalled the game, then reinstalled moguri mod in the same folder as FF9.
I've tried to move the execute program into the right folder, still it doesn't work.
The installer also doesn't allow me to choose the folder; do you have a manual link or something so i can just install it by myself in case?
Thank you in advance!
If someone could do that ... well praised you son.
I was wondering if its possible to get this fix to remove the card/exclamation icon when next to NPCs (as it is in PSX version) to play nice with Moguri: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/ff-modding/discussions/13/152393186486772938/
Right now its a bit annoying to see two icons popping up all over the place constantly in towns, its just a constant reminder that the UI is for touch screen and interferes with the beauty of the mod a bit.
Thanks for any help in this issue.
edit: oh wow! there's already a setting for this in memoria.ini.
i think you have to set hidecard=1 and enabled=1
i think you can just uninstall the game but it leaves your saves untouched and you'll be back to original :)
I've searched this discussion for it but all I can see is one person with the same problem but no fixes
That bug is normally produced because two modded files are incompatible:
1) The Assembly-CSharp.dll that is in the game's folder ("FINAL FANTASY IX\x64\FF9_Data\Managed" or "x86" instead of "x64").
2) The Memoria.Scripts.dll that is also in the game's folder but somewhere else ("FINAL FANTASY IX\StreamingAssets\Scripts"). This file is not part of the normal game so it may not be re-initialized when you re-install the game (depending on how you do that).
The Moguri mod (which includes the Memoria mod) should mod the 1st file and add the 2nd.
Alternate Fantasy (Moguri-compatible version) should mod both files.
I hope you can spot where the problem comes from with those infos.
Anyone got ideas or should I just stick with the fix .dll in the op of this thread and consider it good enough?

I too would like clarification on the sounds issue; can't seem to find a clear consistent donwload.
What exactly is the "music loop" problem?
I was always more concerned with the enemy SFX (Sandstorm being the most noticeable)
