[MOD] True analog support
So I fixed the terrible 8-way controller bug and got the analog movement as close as possible to the original PlayStation version as I could. As a bonus there's an option to skip the splash screens as well. This is a Memoria based mod, so all you need to do is extract it to a folder and run Memoria.patcher then launch the game. If you're already using Memoria you may need to delete your current ini file the first time running it as this mod adds a new section of options. Once the modded game has been run once you can edit Memoria.ini in the game folder with these new options:

SkipIntros=1 - Skips intro splash screens

[AnalogControl]
Enabled=1 - Toggles my modified character controller
StickThreshold=10 - Analog deadzone, between 0-100.
MinimumSpeed=5 - Minimum speed the character can move (maximum speed is hardcoded at 30)

I've submitted this as a pull request so hopefully these changes will be incorporated into Memoria soon, but if you can't wait until then here's the link to my latest build.

I really hate and love how fans are fixing a company's product!
Great work btw. if it works (can't test it as I don't use Memoria).

I would like to say thx, as using your files I'm able to use Memoria.

Heads up that I just updated the mod with a fix for the world map (I only just got out of the Evil Forest lol). Fraggoso if you wanna use it you could check out the pull request on github and add my changes to your FF9 code.

I'm by no means a coder, sorry. Maybe tirlititi can do something with it and HW though.

Merged to the Memoria (main).
Thank you for Pull Request! :)

I guess there's no way to use this mod with the Alternate Fantasy mod? Since I read that AF is not compatible with Memoria. I really want to use this one. x_x
