any mod with an active script is removed it does not end that script when it is removed. So when your save tries to process that script it can create a crash because it is missing the references to

Could'nt agree more.

It seems that the script/plot writing can be hit or miss depending on
the diehardedness of the fans.

Which explains why it has been mostly miss for the majority of fans who have played NV or even older games, including myself.

I did NOT realize it was in Beta. Thanks for that update. Was there a notification in
game that it was when I selected it and I just missed it or is it one of those things you have to read the fine print for?
