Now with the slapstick and just brain dead humour he likes it? Or at least the first 2 episodes.
Wonder if that opinion holds for the full series.
They implanted a ship chip in his head?
He gets to be first in line for the Super Mutant Officer goo dunk?
He really just likes it?
I haven't watched them yet, so I don't have an opinion yet. Also been avoiding any spoiler'ish reaction videos, but its a small world.
edit: corrected stuff, I sucj in English without an AI watching over my shoulder
in terms of cinematography and storytelling is amazing. Those who complains are no life dorks who obsessed with Interplay/Obsidian era of Fallout
Second thing I didn't like was the bomb discussion at the end. That strains credulity even in the wacky world of Fallout. Otherwise loved the show and finished it in two days, which is very rare for me.
Before someone accuses me of not being familiar with Fallout, just want to say that my first game in the series was the original Fallout, way back in 1997. I've been following and loving this universe from the start, and this show is a great boon for Fallout in my humble opinion.
The only "but" is that those b*st*rds didn't have what it takes to add a jetpack, nonono, it should be rockets in the sleeves
I fully expected the show to throw it all away so Im having a good time. The aesthetics and dark humor is what I expected. The production doesnt seem bad. Im glad to have a show like that.
Also fallout is a pretty loose franchise. I wish more game companies would touch it and I dont mind having spin offs or alternative universes telling different stories and takes on the fallout universe.
The perks are not well thought and you constantly need stuff that are far from you build and make no sense being so far into one attribute.
Story is full of holes, like kellog's infinite life. Side quests are not enticing as they were on New Vegas or 3, and main story is shallow.
Institute makes no sense existing, has more technology than there was before the war, which is completely counter to a "post apocalyptic world". That is literally post post apocalyptic. Its fully sci fi with no consequences of the war.
Nothing you do matters, nobody reacts to your actions aside from the radio dude.
There are few perks and armors in that game. Power armors are cool, but regular armores are very sparse. At least on release it was.
Fallout 4 tried a bunch of new stuff and I dont blame them, new stuff is cool and innovative, but there was no refining these new things they were implementing, and the quests feel like they didnt had enough time to be properly catered and polished. Writing is full of holes and a bunch of "who gives a ♥♥♥♥" attitude, a signature of Emil's mediocre work.
Its not a bad game, Id take fallout 4 over many stuff out there, but they had the capacity to do better and simply didnt. Because ♥♥♥♥ us the customers, we'll pay for anything. And pay we did. And we got fallout 76 as a thank you. And starfield as a "i'm sorry".
At least now bethesda cant have another fail or I believe they'll be ruined. Idk, I stopped at fallout 4.
