Fort Hagen Terminal Bug? [No spoilers]
Alright, i'm doing the main quest, and i arrived at the point when you have to go to Fort Hagen. I wenti inside and arrived at a point where i see an elevator behind a Maglock door which can be opened only from a terminal. There is in fact an expert level terminal near, on a wall just a few steps behind, near some soldier beds. I hacked it and displays options for turret control and door control. When i click door control it does not display anything, the terminal stays black and nothing happens. I have to open the door to the elevator but i can't, how can i fix this bug?

It's not bugged. That terminal won't open those doors. Coming from the direction from the area with all the locked doors, go past the room with the expert terminal, turn at the first corridor on the left, then turn right. You'll pass by a generator room where you can take a Fuel Cell. Keep going past that room, turn left at the end of the hallway, then go all the way straight to the end of that hallway. There will be a little half-circular window near the floor, and a door to the left. You'll hear Kellogg's voice, telling you you're on the right path. This way will lead you through a long series of hallways that eventually put you up against Kellogg himself in that locked caged area. Once you defeat him, the terminal inside THERE will unlock all these doors. I found this out the hard way: used the no-clip trick to get inside, then slapped myself when that lower path led all the way back to the outside of the caged area.

Cool, but I wrote the solution for others who might find this thread as I did.

actually, there is a bug in several of the terminals that open maglock doors. sometimes you need to leave the room or save the game to make them pop open. Otherwise they *never* open, just say "Opening ...". try the save or leave trick.

Bringing up the old thread. You don't have to leave or save, just hit escape and then go back to the game.
