Nick Valentine missing
So this doesnt seem to be all that rare of a bug for nick to just vanish after dismissing him. Anyone find his location? and im already past the reunion quest and the memory den quest hes not at either of those locations

Nevermind getting another follower instead of just dismissing him seemed to work

no I never refound him but i did load an old save and IF you dismiss him by talking to another follower and telling them to follow you that seems to keep this bug from happening

Open console with ~
For Nick type: player.moveto 00002f25 (then hit enter).

Should hopefully fix your problem.

Thats good for teleporting him to you to talk to him/travel with him, but Ive had him walk OUT of sanctuary hills when I assigned him there. He then disappears.

I figured it out. Go to complete Dangerous Minds and he's actually waiting for you in Goodneighbor at the Memory Den.

I'm on the ps4 and I can't find him. I don't have the time not patience to do more of the story. I have to find Nick valentine. I'm worried I can't find him because I joined the brotherhood of steel.

In the Vault Tek DLC, or I think that's the DLC it comes from, there's actually a settlement management terminal you can build at a workshop that will put a quest marker on one of your companions. If you have the ability to make that terminal, you can use that to locate him.
