Patch the damn grenades!
It is so annoying and unrealistic how accurate and how often raiders and super mutants are able to throw grenades and molotovs! This needs to be patched

Don't mind the "get gud" and "everything is kay" comments it's no secrete that bethesda fanboys are the worst of the worst when it comes to corporate pole sucking. They literally deny reality.

People even said that this too was an issue of player skill and nothing need to get fixed .

NO, the only people who need to "get gud" is that lazy and incompetent development team who constantly implements game breaking features in their over hyped C- rated games.

Anyways it's fine to include grenade focused enemies it's just they did a terrible job at implementing the grenade function. The accuracy is way too high and there is no noticeable prep timer before they throw them. Also I don't think they can harm themselves with their own explosives so it's super unfair that they can just hit you in the face with firebombs near melee range and suffer no draw backs.
They can also shoot you with rocket launchers point blank too.

Lmao it is NOT a problem.

It's a problem for people who suck/early game.

Playing on survival grenades and molotovs can be annoying at level 1-5, but you soon learn to deal with it and as the game progresses it becomes easier, obviously...with levels.

You are just bad like OP.

This. While I agree to an extent that the sheer number of grenades an enemy can throw (and their 100% accuracy) is a little ridiculous, it's very easily overcome by moving around
question whats so unrealistic about someone being able to throw the grenade without putting their weapon away.
did you know people can do that in real life?
have you played that game yet its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick bro.
you go out have a life see people and realise that this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy so get over it.

I didn't mind NPCs using grenades somewhat excessively against me, I just learnt to get out of the way. However, having been taken out several times by a grenade while I took cover on the other side of a thick wall I saw why people might get annoyed. Another time, Raiders on the floor below me, became aware of me and started throwing Molotovs. However, as they had no line of slight, these just hit the ceiling below and the flames passed through the floor to set me alight...sorta funny, but a bit annoying after a while. Additionally, one NPC was constantly throwing one molotov after another, trying to hit me through the floor - I moved needless to say - and kept on doing this. Must have thrown 30-40 molotovs easily.

Other times, considering I was playing as a stealthy character, having a grenade lobbed directly at me from a very long distance, while still well hidden (brackets far apart) seemed a little scripted. I.e. the NPC hadn't detected me, had no suspicion I was there (no [caution] shown) yet still managed to lob a grenade at me.

One time, actually quite funny, I was sniping some super mutants at long-ranged scope distances when one threw a grenade...damn they can lob a long way!

So, NPC's spamming grenades and molotovs is annoying, but a fair tactic I suppose. Taking damage from the resultant explosions irrespective of any cover or whether I've been spotted or not is a bug or, even worse, a design flaw.

The accurate grenades do not make the game harder, they make it easier. You do not have to look for the grenade and take your focus off the fight in order to figure out where you need to move to get safe. You already know where it is landing, every time. You just have to move in any direction from where you were standing. If they were less accurate you might actually have to worry about where the grenade is.

As for the spamming, it is pretty silly.

My X-01 power armor laughs at your paulty grenades as I sling Bottlecap mines at close range and blast them all to tiny cap induced pieces.

I just use a fully modified gatling laser, kills anything very fast.

The only thing that bugs me is they have unlimited grenades. It was fun in fallout 3 shoting the grenades when they had it in there hands.

I stepoed out on a bluff and was spotted by a supermutant about 40 feet below and 100 feet in front of me. He immediately saw me and threw a grenade while sprinting at top speed towards me. The grenade hit me right between the numbers at the precise moment of detonation.

Mutant needs a try out with the packers as he'll give Aaron Rodgers a run for the starting qb position.

dude i read your post few hours ago before starting my play session and after i played my first difficult mission (corvega assembly plant), im here to say your fking right lol ! srsly i dont wanna deal with that many raiders every mission can i just play Fallout 4 in a kind of sanbox base building way ?

I had a gunner behind a locked metal door that had to be opened with a Terminal right next to the door, that in no way could even see me or know I was there
Constantly throwing NON-STOP Molotov cocktails at the door, which in turn kept kicking me out of using the terminal to open the door

Enough with the "git gud", I don't even have a chance to move when I see 4-5 grenade icons all pointing from different directions that explode almost IMMEDIATELY when they land AT MY FEET no matter where I'm standing. EVEN WHEN THE MOBS CAN'T SEE ME, they can plant a grenade at my feet

I'm going to assume you are playing poe.

If not then you are dumb as ♥♥♥♥. This is not about the skill and knowledge of other players. It's about the game having crap combat design. Stacking damage resistance so you can tank more damage or find ways to cheese the system doesn't take away from the fact that enemies endless spamming grenades is a lazy way to create a challenge.
Again I hope you already know this and just playing half a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to try and troll or be funny.

Anyways my assumption was right. The NPCs are in fact immune to their own splash damage which includes rockets, also the behemoth mutants rock throw abilities currect their path mid flight.

I play on Very Hard without a cross hair and I think the game is easy but I tear apart RPG's. However that doesnt change the fact you are absolutely right about grenades tho the fact they are limitless is so annoying its not even worth the massive amounts of broken limbs and stims packs you have to use just to obtain one grenade they were just throwing at you. So one of two things needs to happen either give me more grenades as loot for all the other crap i just wasted, or dont give them unlimited grenades. Rockets and mini nukes d not a unlimited amount however only throwables i dont even think stimpacks are limitless for npc's. However the accuracy of some npc's and there heavy weapons is lame if i have a 0% vat hit chance then so should the npc. While they are at they can fix the cover system cause a mod does it better right now, the moding community is making you look lazy this time around Bethesda.
