No, you're just bad at it. Poker players do it on a regular basis.

Vault-Tec did not orchestrate the war. Basically the government assumed nuclear war was inevitable and accepted bids for companies to install secure places for people to liveout the nuclear holocaust. Vault-Tec placed the cheapest bid and in addition to some well made bribes secured a monopoly on all vault related contracts throughout the entire country. They then decided to become a stupid evil company for no reason with employees who were also stupid evil for no reason even though it didn't make sense for the employees to continue being stupid evil since that worked against their own best interests and makes no ♥♥♥♥ing sense.

If you no that the vault is the only safe place for you and your children then why would you give a bunch of reformed drug addicts drugs? It makes no ♥♥♥♥ing sense.

Hey, Stupid Evil is an alignment just like any other. How dare you discriminate against them? :(

In topic Nuka world one big chore.
I like the atmosphere of Nuka World better than any other place in the game. The story is a mouthbreather and the whole thing is mostly on rails, but the only time it really fell apart is when you have to go back to the Commonwealth and screw with settlements. On survival mode, this is almost always the point I just quit and go to Far Harbor or something.

Or maybe they just don't care, maybe they figure the blowback is worth the data they collect.

or maybe they expect us to forget about it after a while and go back buying new games and DLC. :)

1. They probably don't care. Paid researchers likely looked at potential costs and benefits to this and determined it was more profitable to go ahead with it. For most companies, outrage translates into a - before an item on a spreadsheet. It's been this way since before any of us were born.

2. "We" will forget about it, by and large. The time between major installments in a franchise like this is the perfect amount of time for the average person to stop holding a grudge. I've seen outrage generated by many, many different things: DLC models, microtransactions, DRM, spyware, data collection, prices, etc. You name it, the internet has become outraged over it, and the companies doing these things are still posting immense profits. The same emotion-driven engine that gins up outrage over corporate antics turns into a hype train once those E3 trailers drop.

3. It's fairly normal for corporate entities to find the exact legal limit for their actions and purposefully toe the line. Like 1, fairly standard practice and has been that way since before any of us were born.

Don't understand why there's still any amount of shock left in people once they discover that a legal entity formed for the express purpose of making money is interested only in making money.

Its not blind choice. You have to get to know the characters and then its not blind at all. Its quite obvious.

"Ok. I have all squad members loyal, except for Jack. I wasn't good enough (paragon) to keep both loyal, but I wanted to pursue the relationship with Mirdanda so I kept her loyal. Is there any way to keep all members alive even though Jack aint loyal. The way I played it is: 1) Tali to go through pipes. 2) Garrus team lead. 3) Mordin escort crew back. 4) Garrus lead again. 5) Samara biotic specialist, and I take Miranda and Jack with me. Then the final squad to take down the baby reaper, I took Garrus and Jack, Garrus survived however Jack died. Can someone please tell me how to keep Jack alive even though she aint loyal. Thanks very much. "

Yeah sounds super obvious to me.

No, no it's not. If you chose the wrong dialogue in Mass Effect it had some dire consquences in the story and could even lock out an ending or cause your crew to die, especailly in ME2 where you have to make the choice of where and what each crewman does -- the wrong choice results in their deaths.

Yeah, cuz a totally blind choice resulting in the death of a beloved character is just -super great design-.

That's why i need some of your advices

So you heard some hearsay that the game is bad, so to ascertain the truth, you go and... ask for more hearsay?

Go look at people's hours on their steam reviews. Often hundreds or thousands of hours played. Regardless of what their mouths say, people do not play a game for 1000 hours if they don't like it.

Love that this Rude$t dumdum keeps accusing people of "gross oversimplification" yet every time he quotes someone he has to replace what they said with a pathetic strawman.

Also still loving the idea that there are kids out there STILL mad about Creation Club. I just downloaded Fallout 4 for the first time in months, hopped on to CC, got some free skins, then logged out. THE HORROR! Those Bethesda guys really have their hooks in me deep. The greed, the greed, the horrible greed.

The idea of a "fake gamer" is so funny it drew me back to this board from way out in Got-Better-Stuff-To-Do-With-My-Time country. The idea that really liking video games makes you part of a secret club that you can deny others access to. Hahahahaha. By the way I'm kicking you out of the breakfast club, you eat eggs over-easy so you're a fake breakfaster. Turn your membership ID and secret decoder ring in at the door.

Never change, FO4 "community." Never change.

Huh. Never heard that. Most people I know just go by months rather than remembering a date.

Do they gauge the time with a sundial, too? lol

Because while it can be argued to technically be Spring in a way, it can also still be argued to technically be Winter.

I guess you could technically argue it, but you would technically be wrong, because Spring and Winter technically have actual start dates. Astrology is technically nonsense.

Its meaningless unless you know their origin.

Somewhere around 90% of humans live in the Northern hemisphere.
The AI actually does a decent job of denying me certain city-state bonuses by murdering them early. How can I abuse Auckland on a island plates map if Egypt kills them? Taking over a city state means people can't spam envoys at it and flip it then declare war on you and irritate you with their carpet of city-state units.

There's plenty of good reasons for the AI to act this way.

In topic Aspyr's racist ad
Nubians were black, and being fat doesn't have anything to do with race, nor is it a prevailing stereotype specific to any race. Nice try manufacturing outrage I guess.

I'm personally mad that Teddy Roosevelt was portrayed as a stocky white guy. The very idea!
Go to control panel, open device manager, click on "Display adapters" and post the devices listed there. Second, make sure you're getting the most recent drivers for your card from the manufacturer, not through Windows.

What free pass are you talking about? Your data is already circulating through potentially hundreds of countries, companies, individuals, etc. It's not a question of prevention, that ship has sailed. Not using Facebook or Twitter isn't doing anything to stop the collection and sale of your personal data.

(I'm not advocating you use them, but realistically, it's not really making a difference.)

People who hate trial and error are really saying that they hate learning. That's what learning is. It's not surprising then that it was so difficult for me to parse OP's message, what with the constant censored profanity and the apparent inability to form a cogent message without resorting to nonsensical tangential rambling.
