Power armor bug : can't get out of it (option no longer available)

I have this strange bug (is it really a bug?) where I am wearing a power armor but I cannot get out of it. There no more options or anything allowing me to get out. Nothing gets displayed about options/commands related to the power armor. Before I often got out of it by accidently pressing my mapped key for entering in it. But now, even this does nothing.

I tried going in inventory, pressing all keys, ...

How do I get out ?

Same.. I've got the exact same issue.

try holding down the key whatever u used before to take u out. IDK about keyboard since I use xbox 360 controller and for sure i have to hold down A button to get out

Tried saving, exiting game relaunching and reloading to see if that clears the issue? this is what i resort to when i hit random issues like that.

You dont understand. I know how to get out and in the armor.. After i press that button and hold it. He holsters his gun and doesnt move at all. You cant open pipboy or whatever. You cant even load a savegame..

And no Sanginius that doesnt work either. I even tried different power armors.

Happens with Pitboy too on occasion.

Save quit the game restart and reload.

I dont want to assume / presume anything, so have you tried getting out whilst in the power armour workstation?

You say you've tried different PA's how long are you in them before you cannot exit them?

Are they repaired/damaged, with or without fusion cores?

Also have you tried running a verification?

During my first playthrough which i rushed, i had no issues with power armours. I could enter and exit them without issues. Now i started playing another save game and organized sanctuary alittle bit. So after moving the power armor station in the new house i got inside the fully reapired PR and equipped it. First thing i noticed was that the armor had ZERO fusion cores, Zero ammo in my gun, it was completely gone (No yellow/red indicator on the armor thingy on the left side) And whenever i pulled out my 10mm it was deformed. Ok. So i close the game, open it again, load up a save before i equipped the PR and went on playing without the PR. Found another Suit, by a crashed Vertibird. Got in it. Same issue. Running a veri now.

On an xbox controller hold down A to exit the armor. Make sure to remove the fusion core and take it with you after you exit.

Yeah, so i just did a verification of the files and it downloaded 1.7GB of stuff now everything works. Or so it seems! Thanks guys.

It happened a few miles away from any armor workstation. Game is running on PC.

I finally got out when the power ran out. It displayed that I had to keep pressing a key to get out.

Before I kept pressing every single keys on my keyboard but nothing happened in terms of getting out of it.

I tried to verify but it stays at zero and doesn't download anything
