I'm looking for instruction/manual for this game. I didn't find this in catalog with game on my hdd. There is also no link by game title on Steam.

Or... is not provided?

Going to give you an awnser you are probably not going to be a major fan off...

But in this case, google is your friend. Since the game is currently purely community documented. At least at this point nothing is properly documented by the developers to my knowledge.

As I thought... But it's not a community duty to prepare instruction for the game. My God, not for game for 60€!!

Buyers should expect, that a game (especially for this price!) will be well documented. Take a look at CD Project RED and The Witcher.

Shame on you Bethesda!

It's quite common for Bethesda games. It's generally less of a problem down the line.
However sadly it means the devs have stoped trying to made proper manuals.

I don't know what you are talking about Mephrite. Yes, it's an inconvenience to not have all the instructions at your finger tips, but for what we are getting 60 bucks is a helluva deal.

Imagine going to the movies. It costs you 10 bucks for a 2 hour movie. You can watch 12 hours of movies for 60 bucks.

I played 12 hours of FO4 on the first day and will ultimately play it for more than a thousand hours. I played Skyrim for almost 2000 hours and will surely beat that with FO4, which in my opinion has far more things to do and see and experience.

And I haven't even downloaded the first mod because I want to enjoy the game just as it was intended.

Yeah, it's a drag not having a manual. But for FKs sake, keep things in perspective. This game is worth every penny even at twice the price (but don't tell Bethesda that).

Most games especially AAA are around that price and they usually don't have manuals. Ingame hints are more common and Google can be your friend.

They stopped printing manuals the moment they realized they would save money by not printing it. The last game I bought that had a manual was vanilla wow so....

Bethesda cheaping out, but not on the price you have to pay for this god awful game.

I am one of the people that would read the manual; I was very upset it didn't come with one.

I didn't even know there was in game help either; I found that after reading about someone talking about it.

I purchased wasteland 2, which came with a manual. And it was an indie project. Certainly a triple A title could consider throwing a PDF with a link to to the internet in it and call it a manual.

My fallout 3 also came with a manual, so I am not sure where the rationalization is that this producer is unable to produce documentation.

At least it doesn't harass us to be a fan on facebook.

A game manual...oh ye, i can recall those things. Yea they died out years ago. :(

Not sure if there is one online even. I just looked stuff up or figured it out with trial and error.

If we are gonna start asking for printed manuals we might as well start asking for the game to be completed before release.

I bought the "Orange Box" and it had a piece of paper in it. Mostly about how to use DRM.
The state of the gaming industry has become so ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I can't believe the price of games these days. I've been playing computer games for 15 years and when I started, a brand new AAA title was at the most $40. Now we're looking at $50 bare minimum, even for B titles. And no, half-finished "early access" titles that are never actually finished don't count, and neither does the rest of the bargain bin BS that Steam is absolutely flooded with these days. The gaming industry has been hijacked by money-grubbing corporate goons who have never played a game in their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life, and the one's that could have stood up to them have sold out (COUGH, COUGH, Gabe Newel, COUGH). Game manuals used to be great. I have the Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights manuals here on my desk right now, and each is over 30 ENGLISH LANGUAGE ONLY pages long, and describe pretty much every nuance of every little thing in the game. Now Bethesda pumps out their latest game, and yeah, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome....but how are we supposed to figure out the building part of the game, something entirely new, that Bethesda has never done before, without ANY sort of documentation at all??? Todd Howard, you used to be my idol, now your starting to seem like the next Gabe Newell, another of my former heroes.

Press escape, go to the 'help' section. It's not that hard.
