Settler stole my power armor.. how do I get it back?

As topic says, we were invaded and a settler stole my suit of power armor off the rack it was on, however its not giving me the option to trade with him to get it back, the hell is with this?

Not just settlerss, even raiders can steal it, next time make sure you take out the fuse

This is why I keep the fusion cores.

Haven't played myself, but taking out the Fusion Core is a likely solution. You could always shoot the settler as well if you have to, or load an earlier save.

i just walked up to the settler + tapped the E key. my char said something like "it's time to get out of my suit" + she did.

Well (I know this is way late) eventually I went back after playing a bit and the settler left the suit there with about 5 charge left in the core, so I guess if they take it they will stay in the settlement and will leave it once the core is low, or if you talk to them.

Did anyone figure this out? I can't talk to they guy. He'll only trade with me. Shooting him causes the entire settlement to turn on me.

a raider piece of ♥♥♥♥ stole one of my PA frames (no attachments) with low charge FC, my turrets killed him, and now I can't get it off of the jerk!

Just kill him and take it back.

you go near him, pickpocket the core.. without a core, they don't stay in the armor.. simple

if you hold E on him they will leave the suit. Also FYI PULL YOUR CORES WHEN NOT IN USE :)

It's funny though.. They can use it when they are under attack, but if you ASK them to do it, they can't since they have no training in using it
