Dogmeat missing...

Can't find dogmeat after you dismiss him, does anyone know where he goes or how to find him. I know a few people have had this same problem.

He should be in Red Rocket the Gas Station

It depends on where you dismiss him too. When I sent him to Sanctuary Falls and it took me ages to find him, I assumed he'd bugged out or something but I do suggest having a really good look around, if you sent him to a town look in the front and back gardens of houses as he generally lays about in the outdoor dog huts.

yeah i dismissed him from Red rocket and now I dont know where he went. They should have put something in like a whistle to call him.

When I dismissed him to sanctuary i found him in a dog house behind one of the houses in the culdesack

I dismissed him in enigma towers and he got stuck there fighting, had to travel back and find him.. listen for his barks

He hides in his doghouse north of town in Sanctuary.

You can craft an item that dogmeat stays around. Not sure what its name or where you find it but i think its under resources. Its a bathtub looking thing.
