No, Canada was a complete failure but they've been closing stores in the US all year left and right.
Their death blow was when it came out they have no clue how to handle infosec and had one of the biggest debit/credit card compromises of any company ever. They lost a lot of customers that they won't get back and their profits have been declining since then.
*Edit* I should say their customer base has been steadily declining. By closing stores/pulling out of canada they're giving the appearance of making a profit while hiding the fact that they're hemorraging customers.
ya that was up here in canada they closed all locations before must of them even opened... thay had hopes we'd enjoy them for the "cheap prices" but sadly everything was over priced as hell even when they were doing out of bussiness sales for %30 off it was still more expensive then just going to walmart. They really over estimeated how cheap stuff is here compared to what they offered.
is what you're referring to. 13 stores closing out of 1,799 is virtually nothing, it's roughly one store per 4 states. I've seen plenty of Mcdonalds locations close as well, does that mean they're going out of business in the next few years too?
That's the latest round. Over the last 2 years a lot of their stores have closed up shop and they've had a huge amount of layoffs (in the U.S.). I think since the credit card breach they've closed somewhere around 50 stores (that's a big deal for retail, especially when you factor in the Canada FUBAR).
They also sold off their pharmacy business, and are considering selling off groceries.
The McDonald's reference isn't a direct comparison, as those are franchise model.
Pick any fallout version you want it won’t look anything like it. This is nothing more than a slapped on label on a standard jones bottle.
I never compared it to a price point, but slapping on a sticker and calling it a fallout 4 nuka cola is just to sell a ton of bottles.
Since it’s supposed to be a shelf item, it should actually look like at least one version of it in game.
Great, now I'm gonna be even extra creeped-outier when Sheffield groans about getting a nuka cola. :(
Why do you think he wanted a bottle of it so bad and no one would give him one?
