Vault-tec guy from the beginning (minor spoilers)
Folks, I just have to share this with someone, because my mind just got blown. After 181 hours of gameplay I finally decided to check the upper floor of Hotel Rexford in Goodneighbor. And guess who I found there? The Vault-tec rep from the beginning! He's a ghoul now, of course, and you can invite him to go back to Sanctuary.

Maybe someone didn't notice him there, too, and will be just as happy as me to find him. Always felt sorry for him.

Yeah, what enhjester says.

I just don't like anyone who worked for Vault-Tec in any capacity, on general principle. :D

You do realize that the majority of Valt-tec employees were just as clueless as the civies they signed up for the vaults.
It was really just the upper echilon of the company that knew the whole deal as it were.

That's true. I remember some terminal logs I found all over the world: the people who knew the whole plan, either had to be ice-cold monsters, or they got into serious trouble. Like the one guy who found out what's happening and wanted to resign.. wouldn't be surprised if Vault just "got rid of him"

The fact that people might indeed already know about Vault Tec guy? Just like how the mere fact that any threads show up when you search for said term reveals the same.

So were the vast majority of Werhmacht soldiers serving the Third Reich in the 40's. General principle, I hate Nazis too ... :D

I felt bad for him. He accomplished nothing for 200 years.

Thus seems strange to me. I thought after my character emerged from the vault there was a skeleton on the hill with the same trench coat looking outfit that the vault-tec salesman was wearing. Right about where he was begging the guards to be let in.

Did i imagine this or wasit a red herring?

Now i have to go check to see if that skele was there

That's obviously not what happened - at least some of the overseers must have known (unless they themselves were the subject of the experiment), as well as science staff, security staff (e.g. at Vault 75 with orders to execute every adult assigned to the vault) as well as construction workers (who installed the cyro pods in Vault 111 and so on). A lot of people would have known or suspected about the Vault's true purpose - you can't operate a huge evil science project like this without anyone knowing about it.

Yeah, I will totally search the 1000 "vault tec guy" threads here in this forum, just to see if anybody ever mentioned this before. God, you people here are really unpleasant to talk to. Everytime I write here I get some smart-ass ♥♥♥♥ answers. I deeply apologize I found the gall to open a post. Now if you'll excuse me, Mr. officer, I'll go hide in a corner in shame

Just so you know, if you want to find out something about Fallout 4, there's a wikia out there which is easy to find through Google. You seem to be a lazy person so I'm gonna do you one solid and even give you the link.

This may be hard for you to grasp, but some people don't research the specific details in a game, they prefer to explore. find challenges, and figure things out on their own, including cool things like Easter eggs or hidden areas.

Are you the type of person that watches You_tube streamers play a game, so you won't need to figure things out for yourself, or even need to buy a game since you watched someone play it for you?
